The .NET and XNA frameworks are required to play FE7x.

Download Version 0.1 - Trial map 1, shops, heal staves, new sprites, etcetera
Download Version 0.05 - Prologue Chapter near completion, numerous animations added
Download Version 0.012 - Fixed some things, added R button help info to the status screen
Download Version 0.011 - Basically the same as the old one, just less glitches :I
Download Version 0.01

Based on the results of this poll, the control scheme in the RMXP version has been changed; press F1 to edit the controls as you see fit, including mapping a controller. An image detailing the function of each key as well as the suggested defaults can be found in the program folder, as well as here.
There are two modes: XP mode (the deafault), with the input names separate from the GBA button names for ease of use (only two keys need changed by default); and GB mode, with the input names mostly the same but taking slightly longer to set up. The mode can be changed on the title screen.[/spoiler]

Hey! I'm new to this forum and I think that your fire emblem demo rocks! But I was wondering, first of all if I can place messages and second if you're coming out with another demo with more dynamics of the game any time soon? smile.gif

We're still constructing the base skeleton for alot of the mechanics, but we're fiddling with cutscene scripts and support conversations and stuff.
As for 'placing messages,' I'm not sure what you mean. The forum's mostly for development use, if that's what you mean, but feel free to make topics I guess.

Semi-new version released. Basically the same, just some stuff fixed. Mention any bugs you find.

Ehh, it's still going sloooooooooow....
And maybe its just me, but you messed up with the controls. B=A, as in, B comfirms, and A cancels (whatever buttons you use for those). It should be otherwise. And no, changing the options in F1 doesn't work, I did everything, nothing worked.

Primary finger rests on X, meaning confirm. Middle finger rests on Z, meaning cancel. The other way is dumb.

Hey just played your demo and found a bug... I did basically what you did and put uther in the tree in front of the building by the mage, merc and fighter. And the Mage stepped onto the property of the building..? he is inside the fence line where he shouldn't be able to go unless he is flying... trying to take a screen shot and find it for you... guess my button doesn't work... well anyways, i hope you know what i mean...

Ah. I see it. The terrain tag system I have in place is a bit error prone at the moment, so some checking needs done to make sure the individual tiles show up as the correct type of terrain. Fixed now, it'll be in the next update.

Hey, when you do put out a new demo, could you possibly put one of the new classes you made into the demo? Like the Zweihandler? I REALLY wanna see how that one would work.
