A program I put together over the past week that makes it easier to recolor FE sprites/try out different palettes, and also easy to generate color data for inserting into GBA hacks or using with FEXP (in a million years when it is released)
There are about a dozen battle sprites included with set up palette data so you can see how the program works, and eventually I'll add the rest of the GBA FE battle sprites (at least the generic classes), or you can load any of your own images

FE Recolor download

You'll need .NET Framework 4 to run it, if the program doesn't work you probably need to download that:

This looks useful.

Where the hell is the fast reply button?

I like the "Copy FEXP data to clipboard" button.

That looks really handy. Good job bro, looks really slick too.

Wait a minute... Please don't tell me FEXP has a 16 color limit?

I'm pretty sure it doesn't have a color limit. Wouldn't make sense for it to... Wait, I think there was a code about palettes. So who knows.

But anyway, this looks tremendously useful for me right now. Like, perfect timing for the restart of my hack. My only question is, how can oddball-paletted units like Mercenaries have the same palette as other units and not look weird?

It makes a scrollbar shows up when you have more than 16 colors you really don't need more than 16 colors, and it does complain if you get GBA palette hex data with more than 16 colors but it will let you do that too.

Each class has individual palettes, and the export order spinners determine the order the color data comes out in for GBA mode, and all of the sprites included give the correct order for their GBA palettes.

I don't know if this is just me, but the window for the tool seemed to large for my screen. Obviously I can shrink it, but is seems odd for it to be like that when you first open it.

Does this work with custom battle sprites as well?
My bad.
